Policy Analyst

Saumya Jain is a Policy Analyst with IISD's Energy Program whose research has focused on climate finance, global debt, and energy transition. Saumya holds a master's degree in climate change and sustainability from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai, along with an undergraduate degree in finance.

Her current work focuses on the ongoing energy transition in India, along with the evolving space of electric vehicles and critical minerals.
